About the Journal

The Journal of Scientific and Technological Research (JSTR), published biannually (January and July), is a peer-reviewed open-access journal of the School of Science and Technology (SST), Bangladesh Open University (BOU). This journal is published by the School of Science and Technology, Bangladesh Open University, under print ISSN 2309-7167 and electronic (online) ISSN 2959-7943, with a digital object identifier (DOI) of 10.59738/jstr.

JSTR publishes original research findings as regular papers and review papers (by invitation). The journal provides a platform for engineers, researchers, academicians, and practitioners who are highly motivated to contribute to the computer science and engineering, health science and technology, food and nutrition, open distance learning, education, e-learning, and applied sciences disciplines. The Journal of Scientific and Technological Research welcomes contributions that address solutions to the specific challenges of the developing world. You are cordially invited to submit your original manuscripts on theoretical and empirical works, surveys, and review articles to be published in the Call for Papers (Vol. 6, Issue. 1, January 2024) by May 20, 2024. Unpublished, cutting-edge research articles of the highest caliber in the following fields are encouraged. Article processing charges (APCs) are not currently necessary in order to publish in the journal.

A manuscript undergoes a double-blind review process.

All the submitted articles will go through a plagiarism (Turnitin) check. The Journal of Scientific and Technological Research only accepts articles that contain 20% or less for the similarity report.
